How Many Scenes Are In Cubefield How Many Scenes And Characters Should Be In A Short Film?

How many scenes and characters should be in a short film? - how many scenes are in cubefield

Hello

I have a small film for ten minutes to make, and I'm really struggling with my screenplay. I noticed that my original character, only a maximum of eight persons and the number of scenes easily satisfied grows and grows. What makes a good short film? And through all the scenes and characters of history, the public may confuse. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Wow, there are probably many answers to this question, because it reduces itself to the big question: "What makes a good short?". Some random thoughts:

1. Keep struck his head to an original idea for WHAT YOU WANT to have to say? Can you describe the film clearly in one sentence? This can be a challenge. You get to know better what you mean that the story is Clea, and let a few characters.

2. 9 characters really sounds like too much. Try a new project to see what the child can get away with it too early to say what she says. There are many characters have the same function? Do you really need all this?

3. Please give your project valuable to others whose opinions you see and hear what they say. If possible, watch their reactions as they read. If you feel emotionally? Calls to see to open difficult questions and to see what came of it, the script, probably from what we had in mind different. That is, aRT, but beware of confusion, and do not care what. My motto is that the films are not the worst of enemies, but nobody understands and nobody cares.

4. Learning from each other! Netflix or Blockbuster.com Search for "Short Academy Award" and you see the Oscar-winning short. Concentrate on the story. If you are serious, you select the ones you like, and transcribe the counting of characters and scenes, including the scripts.

5. The correct answer is, you have problems with those issues through to the final cut of the film. Writing can be painful to learn to appreciate, to know well, like a masochist! :-)

I have a movie with a character and a car.

Much depends, however, he wants to keep under control, but much depends on what you say Wnt

It should be short, sweet and grain. The best short films are often the simplest. Ax characters or scenes that do not support his story - are unnecessary.
